_ Imagine being able to measure the water in a remote-location tank or pond
without using floats
without stringing wire long distances
or installing costly ultrasonic level or radio control sensors.
The IC Pump Station control unit measures the pressure at the bottom of a
tank and displays it as 0-25.0 PSI. 0.1 PSI equals approximately 2.75 inches
of water. That's accurate enough for all but the most exacting level measurements
so IC Pump Station can be used just about anywhere. Plus it's far less costly
than conventional level controls with equal or better reliability.
IC Pump Station can be used with any liquid that is compatible with brass and
17-4 stainless steel so it can even be used for chemical tank level monitoring.
IC Pump Station provides fully adjustable low pressure on, high pressure off
and high and low pressure safety shutoff levels. The "safety shutoffs"
shuts off the pump and keeps it off until manually reset. As an option IC Pump
Station can also close a switch to activate a warning light, horn or auto-dialer
when the pump has shut down due to low water.
Also provided are minimum on and off timers (1 second to 4 minutes) useful to
allow the fluid in the pipe/tank to stabilize to prevent pump "cycling"
off and on.
IC Pump Station can also stop the pump periodically while filling to allow the water pressure to stabilize (without the turbulence produced by the pump distorting the readings) and then restart if the tank level isn't to the high level off point.
